The locals’ guide to getting Knott’s Berry Farm tickets

If you’re into riding thrilling rides, seeing fun shows, eating delicious food and generally have a blast with your family, you’ll enjoy Knott’s Berry Farm, a theme park in Buena Park, Ca. If you’re also into saving money, the following information will be worthwhile, as we’ve scouted out a few ways to get the best deals on Knott’s Berry Farm tickets.

Regular pricing

Daily tickets are regularly $65 each at the gate for park goers aged 12-61. For those in your group between 3 and 11 years of age or 62 and older, single day tickets are $35 each in advance and at the gate (prices valid through Dec. 31, 2015). The junior/senior discounted tickets can be purchased online and at the park. 


Season passes are $79.50 for Knott’s Berry Farm and $96 for Knott’s Berry Farm and Soak City. Season passes are going up in January, so buy now. Season passes can be used an unlimited number of times with no blackout dates. In addition, with your season pass, you will receive discounts on food and merchandise. 

Discount pricing

If you do a little leg work, you can save big. Knott’s Berry Farm itself offers several ways to save money by buying your tickets online. For example, you can save $25 on a single daily ticket when you purchase your ticket online and in at least 3 days in advance. 

For a limited time, you can save on single same day tickets if you buy online the same day you are heading to the park. Through Jan. 18, 2015, single same day tickets are $44 online versus $65 at the gate.

Military, policeman and firefighter discounts

Military personnel can save on tickets, too. Simply show your military I.D. card and pay just $38 per ticket. This offer does not apply to special ticketed events.

Now through Jan. 31, 2015, Knott’s Berry Farm is offering free park admission for all active fire and police personnel and one guest. In addition, Jan. 5-31, up to six additional tickets can be purchased for $24 each. Fire or police personnel must be present. Must present valid active fire or law enforcement I.D. cards and a photo I.D. See website for additional details.

Additional discount resources

AAA members save 30% on Knott’s Berry Farm regular admission adult tickets and 20% on admission to Knott’s Soak City water park.

Visit California offers a $10 off coupon for regular admission on its website. 

Southern California residents with the ZIP codes 90000-93599 can purchase regular adult tickets for $46.99 as long as you show a proof of residency.

The travel agency aResTravel offers discounted tickets, too. Visit the website and purchase single day admission tickets for $37.99 for ages 12 and up and $31.99 for ages 3-11 and over 62. Tickets are not returnable or refundable. See website for more details.

Ride in the Fast Lane

For additional $35 you can purchase a Fast Lane pass that allows you to bypass the regular lines on 10 rides and attractions. This pass must be purchased in addition to your admission ticket.
