Before you head to Disneyland, it’s important
you get a handle on Disneyland park attractions for the whole
family to enjoy together. My Castle House has put together a few suggestions that will create
memories for a lifetime.
Disneyland Park Attractions
For families with little ones, you’ll want to
target attractions with no height requirements. Many of the rides have a
minimum height requirement for safety reasons. But even if you have little
tykes in your group, there are plenty of things to see and do in the happiest
place on earth.

For those who are curiouser and curiouser, Alice
in Wonderland in Fantasyland is a great ride for all ages. Hop on an
oversized caterpillar for an adventure that takes you down an enchanted rabbit
hole into the topsy-turvy realm of Wonderland. Catch a glimpse of the Mad
Hatter, the Cheshire cat and come face-to-face with the Queen of Hearts
herself.

For another all-ages experience, travel under
the sea on the Little Mermaid ride – Ariel’s Undersea Adventure in
Disney Adventure Park. Take a seat inside a giant clamshell where you’ll enter
Ariel’s world for a bit of mermaid fun. This slow ride will allow you to catch
a glimpse of Ariel, Eric, Sebastian, Ursula and more.
Ahoy, matey! This ride may seem a little scary
to small ones, so keep that in mind as you board a barge to experience Pirates
of the Caribbean in New Orleans Square. Float through a shadowy grotto
and sing along with the pirates as they belt out their favorite song, “Yo Ho,
Yo Ho!” Secret treasure, Jack Sparrow and more await you on this adventure.

The Astro Orbiter is another fun ride for all ages. Climb into your own rocket
ship to soar among orbiting planets. You’ll ascend high above Tomorrowland for
a view you and your family will never forget.

Every princess at heart will enjoy exploring Sleeping
Beauty Castle in Fantasyland. In addition to following
winding passageways and staircases, you’ll see 3-D displays depicting the tale
of Princess Aurora and Maleficent. During the holidays, the castle is draped in
snow and ice. The castle, which was inspired by a real Bavarian castle, first
opened to the public in 1957.

When you need a little rest but still want to
see the sights, climb aboard the Disneyland Railroad for a
1.2-mile scenic tour of Disneyland at a relaxing pace. The vintage train offers
stops at New Orleans Square, Tomorrowland, Mickey’s Toontown and Main Street,
so you and the family can enjoy the ride and hop off anywhere you like relaxed
and ready for more Disneyland adventures.
These are just a few suggestions for Disneyland
park attractions for the whole family. Visit the Disneyland website for more
info and ticket prices.
