It doesn’t matter how old you are, fireworks are always a hit, and nobody does fireworks better than Disneyland. To make sure you secure a great spot to see the show, consult our tips below for the best places to watch Disneyland fireworks.

The nightly fireworks show at Disneyland takes place at Sleeping Beauty Castle. Pretty much anywhere you can stand that you can clearly see the castle will result in a good view. Just remember that the castle will be the center of attention when you pick your spot.

Don't forget to consult the schedule at Disneyland to find out what time the fireworks begin.

Places to Watch Disneyland Fireworks Inside the Park

In order to get the best view of the fireworks show, we suggest getting a spot directly in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle. This castle was modeled after a famous French castle and is the oldest of all the Disney castles. The fireworks show kicks off with brilliant visual effects cast upon the castle set to a montage of Disney songs. Make sure you’re paying close attention so you can see Tinkerbell take flight!

Unless you go very early to stake out your spot, it might be difficult to get front and center, so rest assured that anywhere in the circle in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle, where there is also a large statue of Walt Disney and Mickey, will be a great spot to watch the fireworks.

Just about anywhere along Main Street will be a good spot to watch fireworks, as well. Just be careful not to get behind a tree or light post or another object that might obstruct your view.

60th Anniversary Celebration Fireworks

Don’t forget, beginning at the end of May, Disneyland is putting a twist on its fireworks shows in celebration of the park’s 60th Anniversary. Disneyland Forever will feature a new soundtrack and your favorite Disney Characters projected onto Sleeping Beauty Castle in the Magic Kingdom and Carthay Circle Theater in Disney California Adventure Park.
